On Friday 5/6W started making their lantern fish to parade at the Shoalhaven River Festival. Dora, the artist in charge of the parade, taught us how to make them. We measured long pieces of cane and stuck them together to make the frame of the fish. My mum and other parents came in to lend a helping hand. It took us four hours to finish the frames. We all had so much fun making the lanterns with Dora and are excited for when she comes back this Friday to help us finish them off.
After we finish our lanterns, Dora and 5/6W will help the other classes make theirs. - Kylah C.
